Help the drowsy English village of Little Marlow, Obi-Wan Kenobi.
Townsfolk aren’t pleased with Disney for structure a gigantic set for the home entertainment giant’s Star Wars TELEVISION series “Kenobi” starring Ewan McGregor as the famous Jedi Master, the Sun reported.
Dozens are making themselves a force to be considered, grumbling the building and construction is blocking roadways with vans and heavy trucks, producing light contamination and interrupting the wildlife of the town, situated about an hour’s drive west of London.
The village’s council offered Disney the OKAY to utilize a previous quarry website that abuts a lake. Filming begins in March; the spinoff debuts on Disney+ next year.
One resident unhappy early was Martin Braint, who told the Bucks Free Press that Little Marlow is “the wrong place” for such a Television Set that might be in location for 3 years.
“We have had films in the village before and it is quite exciting having things go on for a short period of time,” Braint stated in November. “But when they are considering carrying it on for years or into the future, it is a different matter.”
