The Flaming Lips gotten on phase Saturday night for their long-awaited Space Bubble Concert, and gotta state … it’s amazing!!!
It decreased in the band’s home town, Oklahoma City, and it did not dissatisfy. The band AND the crowd were all in their own, private bubbles in a futuristic display screen that looked … well, futuristic.
The Space Bubble Concert was initially arranged for December, however there was a spike in coronavirus cases in Oklahoma so the band was required to hold off.
Lead vocalist Wayne Coyne was quite into the bubble, stating going to a Flaming Lips concert is much safer than going to a grocery store. Coyne informed us about the preventative measures back in November … as a method of keeping music and shows alive throughout the pandemic.
