A 26 year old corrections officer Janel Sands has been arrested for having sexual relations 
with an inmate in a correctional facility in Tennessee.
Janel worked at the Deberry Special Needs Facility in Nashville, Tennessee, where the alleged incidents occurred.
According the indictment, Janel had sexual contact with the same inmate once in March and once in April.
The Tennessee Department of Correction fired Sands in May when the allegations surfaced.
